A California company has agreed to buy LeMay Enterprises, the company that provides garbage and recycling services in Grays Harbor, Pierce, Thurston and Lewis counties. LeMay is one of the largest privately owned solid waste services company in the Northwest with annual revenue of about $100 million. It has about 240 employees, 60 of which work in Grays Harbor.
Republican Gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi continued to pitch change in the politics of Olympia as the main reason for his election during a campaign swing through Pacific and Grays Harbor counties. This was the second gubernatorial campaign stop in as many days in Grays Harbor. On Monday, Governor Chris Gregoire attended a fundraiser at the Gordon Farm in East County.
